Meet The Founder

Allison McCarthy is the founder of Allison McCarthy Designs, a studio dedicated to creating thoughtful, human-centered interiors.

She designs with a strong conviction that spaces should support their inhabitants, fostering clarity, comfort, and ease in daily life.

Her approach is rooted in inclusive design principles, driven by a passion for developing environments that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also accessible, intuitive, and meaningful.

Allison pursued her degree in interior design at the Savannah College of Art and Design, focusing on empathetic, intentional, and careful design practices. She actively participates in the design community, serving as the Membership Chair on the NEWH Atlanta Chapter Board and contributing both professional expertise and practical insight. In addition to her design work, Allison is deeply dedicated to community service, volunteering with organizations such as the National MS Society, Lifeline Animal Project, and the Atlanta Down Syndrome Association, thereby furthering her commitment to creating more inclusive, supportive spaces.
